We remember Sarah Dalzell, lovingly known by many throughout Calumet Nation as Pippi, in whose memory the Art Space was created. Thrivent members who are eligible to apply to create an *ACTION TEAM* are encouraged to help. Together, Calumet Nation can fill the space with art supplies. We're not doing a *FUNDRAISER* as many typically do with their Action Team cards ... and that's important to know before applying.
Instead, we're having everyone choose the *EDUCATION* option during the application process. When the card arrives, you'll want to revisit this page and scroll down for next steps.
Q -- "The Card Arrived. Now what?
Option One -- Calumet's Online Resource
Use Calumet's online resource which, in lots of ways, is similar to a wedding registry. Calumet has identified thousands of dollars of items that we need in the Pippi Art Space for education purposes moving forward.
If you're someone who is not thrilled with online shopping, get yourself to your local store and spend that $250 debit card on any of the following:
Construction paper, size 9X12
Pairs of Scissors
Gimp
Boxes of Crayola Crayons
Good Quality Markers
Scotch Tape, Masking Tape, Duct Tape
Sharpie Permanent Markers
White Poster Board
News Print for Easels
Glue Sticks
Large Containers of Elmer's Glue
Rolls of Brown Craft Paper
Rolls of White Craft Paper
Pens & Pencils
Then get those items to Calumet at your convenience. To learn about the best ways to ship items to Calumet, Contact Ginger. If you have any questions about your Thrivent Action Team Card, the Pippi Art Space, or Giving Tuesday -- Contact Knute.
