CALUMET ENJOYS MANY SOLID PARTNERSHIPS WITHOUT WHICH NEW ENGLAND'S LUTHERAN CAMPING MINISTRY SIMPLY COULDN'T CONTINUE WITH STRENGTH AND HEALTH

We have more than 180 primary partners -- the congregations of the New England Synod!  These partners stretch across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut -- and two partner on the northeastern border of New York.  This partnership is lived out in all sorts of ways, including prayers, financial gifts, and PEOPLE.  Guests visit Calumet to participate in every program all year long.  Without the people, there isn't any reason for Calumet to exist.  Calumet is about supporting and strengthening the congregations of the New England Synod.  Find one of Calumet's partner congregations by going to www.elca.org/ELCA/Search/Find-a-Congregation.aspx -- mention Calumet sent ya!

Another one of Calumet's partners is Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Thrivent helps all people think about retirement, insurance needs, and investment strategies. Calumet receives support from Thrivent members through their designated giving of Thrivent Choice Dollars. Additionally, there are Thrvient Chapters that provide matching grants for many fundraising initiatives which include the annual Walkathon in Gloucester, summer's Calumet Open which is a Monday golf event for men and women of all ages and abilities, and autumn's Reach the Beach relay which includes lots of Calumet people running from Cannon Mountain to Hampton Beach. Learn more about FUNdraisers by checking out "Giving to Calumet" on the homepage. There are lots of Thrivent Agents all over New England and they're ready to help you with whatever financial planning needs you have.

We enjoy a healthy partnership with all of the Lutheran camps throughout the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  Calumet is the only Outdoor Ministry in New England but there are hundreds of Lutheran camps all over the country. Leaders from the camps meet together annually, and some staff members meet on a regional basis. We all help each other with the many cultural changes that come along.
