Reach the Beach Running Relay
In 2020, Calumet will participate in the Ragnar RTB running relay for the 11th year. Five teams of 12 runners and two Ultra teams of 6 runners will run from Bretton Woods to Hampton Beach. Calumet Nation raised over $100,000 dollars in 2019 and we're going to go for that goal again this year! We're always looking for new runners to join the roster. Contact Ginger to learn more.
Reach the Beach Walking Challenge
In 2020, we have a goal of gathering 500 people to participate in the Reach the Beach Walking Challenge which will begin Friday, July 3. This 11-week program works like this:
Sign up by filling out the form (cost: $25). Just by signing up to walk, a group of donors will make a matching gift in the amount of $15. Start walking on July 3 and track your mileage. On July 10th, you'll report your first weeks' total miles. For every 5,000 miles the group walks, Calumet's Annual Fund will receive $1,000 that it won't otherwise receive. Last year, 180 people walked 30,000 miles.
In 2020, we have a goal 500+ people walking 100,000 miles! If we can achieve both of those goals, Calumet Nation will raise over $40,000. Here's the form:
Calumet 5K Run/Walk
On July 11th, people will come together here at camp for our first ever official 5K Run/Walk. The registration fee of $20 will be shared between Calumet's Campership Fund, the Freedom Food Pantry, and the Green Mountain Conservation Group. The family rate for the day is $45. For those who are participating in the RTB Walk -- Just $5.
Just after the race, there will be a big buffet supper. For race participants, it's just $5. All others, $15.

July 11 Coach Bus Day Trip
$65/person and $135/family
Departs from Vernon, CT at 730 AM with stops in Waltham, MA, and Newington, NH. Trip includes round-trip transportation, lunch at Calumet's Beach BBQ, an afternoon on the beach, entry in the Calumet 5K Run/Walk, and a ticket for the Big Buffet Supper. The bus leaves Calumet at 6:30 pm arriving back to Vernon at 10:15 PM.
