Chaplains: Pastor Niki Harvell & Pastor Jessica Goodrich
A weekend designed for LGBTQIA2S+ folks looking to make connections and embrace queer joy! There will be plenty of opportunity to build community together through games and activities, to grow in faith through worship and affirming Bible study on gender & sexuality, as well as space to rest and explore the beauty of Calumet. This is a retreat where queer folks can be fully ourselves, in every expression and identity, as one community.
Our Leaders:
Rev. Jessica Goodrich (She/her)
Jessica is a transgender woman who serves as senior pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Westborough, MA. She loves pastoring with people whose lives have been changed by God, and who long to live out God’s love and justice within our world. Outside of church you’ll likely find Jessica parenting her two children or tending the net as a goalie at the local hockey rink.
Rev. Niki Harvell (She/her)
Niki is a cisgender, bisexual woman serving as pastor to Faith Lutheran in Quincy, MA. She is most in love with the sneaky God who shows up in unexpected ways and the bold Spirit which constantly transforms and reforms the world. When She isn’t in the church building, you can usually find her out hiking, crocheting, or on a personal quest to meet every dog & cat in town.
"Mama J" Jeanette Haris (She/her)
"Momma J's" 'Luther-Bapti-Costal" history helps her share the message of God's love, through storytelling, singing, comedy and testimony! As a Mission Developer. she continue to grow in prayer, Bible study and worship.
