Two Minutes / Walk the Walk

If you're visiting this page, it means that you are considering offering a two minte bible study. Thank you! Just two minutes ... no more, mo less.

Here's What To Do!

1. Choose a brief verse from scripture that is of intereset to you.

2. Hold your phone sideways -- a horizontal view. Press the button to record and count to two *in your head* before beginning to talk while simultaneously offering a nice, reflective smile. I promise you'll be glad you did this! Haha!

3. Start by introducing yourself and then read the Bible verse out loud for the viewers.

4. Use the remaining two minutes to wonder about what that particular verse might do for us today.

5. Consider that some people are very tuned in to their Christian identity while others might not think of themselves as being at all churchy.

6. Send it along to Calumet via Dropbox by pressing the button just below. We'll be glad to have it anytime during the month of July.

What is Walk the Walk? People from all over register to be part of a big effort to walk (or run, bike, hike, swim) during the days of July and August. Participants report their mileage to a TEAM Captain. TEAM Captains report the miles to us here at Calumet. As the summer progesses, the total mileage gets higher and higher. The Walk will be made up of 2,500 people from all over who will work together, from where they are, to walk 350K miles in 62 days.

On August 31, we hope to report a successful goal of miles walked and a successful effort to raise $150,000 for Calumet’s ministries.
