Walk the Walk 2021 participants will work together to invite their own circle of friends/family to support their Walk the Walk effort with a small gift on August 25 -- Calumet's One Day of Giving!

In prior years, participants in Calumet's walking programs have asked for this option. So this year, we're going to give it a try. If you're a Walk the Walk 2021 particpant and this idea gives you the heebie-jeebies -- no worries! It's totally voluntary.

Walk the Walk 2021 participants who wish to do so will ask their circle of friends, their family members, their colleagues, their neighbors, their fellow congregation members -- whomever! -- to make a small, one-time gift to Calumet in support of Walk the Walk 2021.

Everyone who makes a gift on August 25 -- Calumet's One Day of Giving -- in support of and in honor of a Walk the Walk 2021 participant will receive a "Give Me Strength to Walk the Walk" refrigerator magnet.

One Day of Giving Details

To give online

Beginning at 7 AM on August 25, sponsors will:

1. Click a link.

2. Input their contact info.

3. Identfy the Walker they are sponsoring/honoring.

4. And input whatever amount that's comfortable to them, thereby completing the online gift.

To give by check

For those wanting to give via check, they will send a check made payable to "Calumet" with the walker they are sponsoring/honoring in the memo line and mail it to Calumet, P.O. Box 236, West Ossipee, NH 03890. People who want to give in this way can do so at any time leading up to August 25. We'll count it toward that day's One Day of Giving total response!

Giving in support/honor of a TEAM

Honoring a TEAM is easy. Instead of inputting the name of a particular person, donors will input the name of a TEAM. "TEAM Christ the King, Nashua" ... or maybe it's "TEAM Boathouse" ... or for those wanting to support/honor the whole conglomeration of 1,700+ Walk the Walk 2021 participants, you can say: EVERYONE!
