We’re gearing up for another fantastic walking event called Walk the Walk 2021. People from all over will register for the annual walk, trek their miles during the 62 Days — July 1 to August 31 -- and report their mileage four times to the TEAM captain.
Each participant (whether two legs or four legs) will pay a $25 registration fee (which ends up being a donation to Calumet). Offical T Shirts for each person and offical Bandanas for the dogs will be mailed to each participant!
This year, one of the changes will give each participant the chance to join a specific TEAM. All teh options for TEAMs will be found when people register for "Walk the Walk 2021."
TEAM Jackman Ridge
TEAM Calumet Generations (for family members who love camp together!)
Congregation TEAMs (see below)
Non-Walking TEAMS such as Bike the Walk or Swim the Walk or Paddle the Walk
For those who are the easy going type: "Any TEAM needing a member."
Click the "Learn About TEAMs" button.
Calumet receives tons of encouragement and support from congregations! So, this year we're hoping that lots and lots of congregations will form teams. Some congregation TEAMs will have 2 people and some congregation TEAMs will have 102 people! Whatever works best for them!
Click the "Learn More About Congregation TEAMs" by scrolling down just a bit.
The goal for this year: 1500 registrants … 200,000 miles over 62 Days … $106,250. People (and dogs) from New England and far beyond will commit to walking wherever they are, keeping track of their miles, and periodically reporting miles to their TEAM captain. If we end up hitting our 200,000 mile goal, an EXTRA HUNK from Angel Donors will be received by Calumet to help with the Annual Fund — But only if we hit the “200,000 miles” goal.
The Registration begins May 20.
The Walk is 62 days beginning on July 1 and ending on August 31.
