The Summer Jubilee

SATURDAY AUGUST 25TH - ALL DAY EVENT!!

Boston Vocal Group REDLINE will perform!Jubilee Saturday is a day of celebrating all the summer fun we have been enjoying at Calumet! Fun at the waterfront includes scenic pontoon boat rides, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, water volleyball and more. Outdoor activities around camp include an archery contest (yes! with real bows and arrows), a afternoon softball game (we need players & fans to cheer!), hiking up Jackman Ridge for a fantastic view of the Ossipee Region, craft making at the beach and much more! Rumor has it that tye dying will be available and delicious ice cream making will be offered!!!

Our musical guests this year are the talented Boston based vocal group REDLINE who will treat us to unbelievable harmonies at Luther Hall at 4pm. Maybe some of you heard them at Synod Assembly 2011…you do not want to miss this concert!

Our evening program at 7:30 pm in the Family Camp Big Top will feature a presentation as part of our Summer Nature Odyssey Series that explores the rich natural history of our area.

Calumet is known for great food…well, this Jubilee Day will include a delicious traditional cookout at the picnic tables outside of Lakeside Dining Hall and a lovely Chef’s Lakeside Buffet Dinner at Lakeside Dining Hall! You are also welcome to bring your own picnic lunches and use our tables at the beach or at the dining hall or maybe dine on your own blanket under the trees!!!

Come celebrate summer and meet new & old friends at Camp Calumet! Come for the day or better yet, come for the entire weekend!
