One never knows who will join in on the walk from point A to point B. Pr. Jeff Stalley from First Lutheran in Ellington, CT happened to be heading in the right direction earlier this week so there was opportunity to "catch up." It so happens that Pr. Jeff is one of the 18 Chaplains serving at Calumet this summer. As the Family Camp Chaplain, Pr. Jeff also takes on the role of preacher for Sunday worship. Calumet benefits so much by the presene and the work of the Chaplains. Thanks for all of the congregations to encourage their pastor to serve the Church in this important way -- a week at Calumet!
Within a 13 minute stretch of time ... Associate Camp Director Jim Doyle identified an awesome camper creation in front of the office and the Beach BBQ enjoyed a quick little rainfall. Things to note: Paul Lindahls rain hat, Amanda working through the rain at the lunch table, Mike's confidence level that rain had done what it was going to do, and the shout out to the donut place in East Longmeadow!
