Men's Weekend

OCTOBER 19th - 21st, 2012

We know how it is...you think “men’s weekend” and the first image that pops into your mind is of sitting around a campfire, singing Kumbaya, and talking about your feelings.

But that’s not what this men’s weekend is about! It’s about taking time off from your busy schedule to concentrate on re-connecting with old friends while making new ones. It’s about finding some down time where you can relax and rejuvenate, play some cards, talk about the stresses and strains of daily life, and reflect on what it means to lead a good Christian life.

We’ll be offering a variety of interesting programs to take part in...everything from exhilarating fall hikes, to a demonstration on wood-cutting, to a challenging service project that will let you show off your extensive fix-it skills. And heck, if you feel like singing Kumbaya, we can do that too! The main point is that this is an opportunity for you to relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy yourself.

The cost for this weekend is $152 pp in the Conference Center, $140 pp in the Retreat Lodge, and $116 pp in a heated cabin.
