Guest Choral Conductor: Jonathan Reuning-Scherer, Director of Music - Emanuel Lutheran Church - Hartford, CT

The Choir Directors’ Retreat is a new event planned especially for choir directors and other interested musicians. Musicians can gather together under the leadership of Jonathan Reuning-Scherer, in a comfortable learning environment by the shores of Lake Ossipee. This retreat provides an opportunity to meet new and old friends who share a passion for choral music.

Workshops include:

~ Repertoire ~ Master Class Techniques ~ Online choral resources ~ Music Technology

Summer Finale Week (August 26-31) will be taking place at the same time as this retreat. Therefore, participants are also invited to Summer Finale Week activities including swimming, boating, arts & crafts, square dancing, and other special events. Participants may also be able to extend their stay after the retreat by checking with the reservation office when making reservations. This retreat for choir directors begins with supper on Sunday night, August 26 and ends with lunch on Wednesday, August 29.
